The season will end with a Milan-Juventus Scudetto showdown, while other highlights include Inter-Roma in Week 12, Juventus-Inter and Roma-Lazio in Week 15.

The fixtures have provided some spectacular ties for the 2009-10 Serie A season, which kicks off on Saturday August 22.

It’s right in at the deep end for Week 2 with both the Milan Derby and Roma-Juventus to set the early pace.

The clashes continue as in Week 8 holders Inter face a tricky trip to the revamped Genoa, as Diego Milito and Thiago Motta return to their former club.

That same weekend Juventus welcome arch rivals Fiorentina and Milan take on Roma at San Siro.

In Week 12 Inter hope to end their taboo by beating the Giallorossi on home turf, while Milan exchange cities to face Lazio.

The Genoa derby and an intriguing Inter-Fiorentina are both in Week 14, but it is seven days later that the Scudetto race truly gets into gear.

Juventus v Inter is the absolute highlight of Week 15, which will be played on the weekend of December 5.

It faces competition, though, as in that same round there is the fiery Rome Derby.

That is all nothing compared to what the calendar has created for the final round of the season, which will see a potentially decisive Scudetto showdown.

Milan welcome Juventus to San Siro for the final result of the campaign, while Inter travel to Siena, which has recently been the site of great celebration for the club.

The race for a Champions League spot could also be tricky, as it ends with Palermo-Fiorentina, Catania-Genoa, Sampdoria-Napoli, Chievo-Roma and Lazio-Udinese on May 16.

Sweet a Milan derby in August.
