As if fans still have the nerve to chant racism
You obviously don't watch Serie A.
DUUUUUUUH

Cesc, it's a fairly regular occurence in Serie A. An Inter player, Bolatelli?, was racially abused earlier in the season.

Mourinho gone in the summer it looks like:

Quote:

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has admitted he is "very happy at Inter, but not in Italian football", fuelling speculation that his dislike for both the Italian media and football federation could lead to him exiting the San Siro this summer.

Mourinho's Nerazzurri side are preparing to take on CSKA Moscow in the Champions League quarter-final first leg at the San Siro on Wednesday, but his comments have somewhat overshadowed the build up to Inter's first last-eight appearance since 2006.

"I always speak in a very honest way and if I do it about Serie A I will be suspended. My situation is clear. I am very happy at Inter but not in Italian football," the former Chelsea coach told Sky Sports. Asked why, he said: "Because I don't like it and it doesn't like me, simple."

Mourinho has been punished several times by the Federazione Italiana Gioco Calcio (Italian football federation) for his outspoken comments and has struggled to build a rapport with the Italian media - declining to participate in the post-match press conference following his side's 2-1 Serie A defeat to Roma on Saturday.

"My press silence is doing me good because it allows me to sit on the bench and that's important for me," he said. "I've always said that a coach does not win a match from the bench but it allows him to stay close to his players and that's where I want to be. Not speaking about Italy or the Italian league allows me to sit on the bench, and no I don't want to risk that."

The Portuguese coach also re-affirmed his affection for English football, where he enjoyed incredible success as manager of Chelsea, though he was keen to stress that he is fully focused on Inter's quest for silverware this season.

"I miss English football and English football misses me, there's no doubt about that, but right now I'm thinking only about Inter," he said. "At Inter I'm very busy with the league, the Italian Cup and the Champions League. These occupy all my thoughts, preparing games and analysing them."

Oh Oh

Uefa is studying "unusual" betting patterns and outcomes in four recent matches in Italian football as part of a new probe into match-fixing that investigators believe has roots in Italy but could have links to Asia, The Independent can reveal.

The governing body is already involved in the ongoing attempted elimination of a Croatia-based, pan-European match-fixing ring. Most recently that purge led to 46 arrests in Turkey on Wednesday, including arrests of players and coaches.

But informed sources in the bookmaking industry in Europe and Asia have told The Independent that four Italian matches are being looked at as part of a separate fixing investigation. "It's worrying because it's a completely new front, and any hint of a link to Asian fixers would add a sinister new dimension," one source said.

Bookies across Europe suspended bets last midweek on Sunday's game in Serie A between Chievo and Catania after more than £2m was wagered on a draw, and hundreds of thousands of pounds on 1-1 specifically. The result was 1-1, with a dubious penalty among the irregularities.

Now Uefa and the Italian authorities are also looking at three other games, all played in Serie B last month. Uefa was tipped off by bookmakers after suspect betting patterns on the games in February between Gallipoli and Grosseto, Grosseto v Cittadella, and Salernitana v Triestina.

"It's true, we're looking at four games in Italy," a senior investigative source said yesterday. "Chievo-Catania is in a situation [of severity] on its own. We have never seen volumes like this before. It needs explaining."
