Inter are looking to reinforce their attack with Lazio star Goran Pandev, but he's also being tracked by Juventus, while Palermo defender Simon Kjaer is being followed by the two rival clubs as well. Whereas at the start of the season it seemed as if Inter were well-equipped in attack, the situation is somewhat different now. Diego Milito will be out injured for a while, Marko Arnautovic hasn't convinced yet, Mario Balotelli lacks consistency, and in January Samuel Eto'o will leave to play in the African Cup of Nations. That's why the Nerazzurri are still following Lazio star Goran Pandev, who was initially brought to Italy by Inter in 2001. The Macedonian striker has stated his desire to leave the Biancocelesti, which led to him being frozen out of the team. President Claudio Lotito may decide to sell the player to Inter, a club he has good connections with. According to TuttoSport, Juventus are also after Pandev, but there is another transfer market battle going on between the two rival clubs. That concerns rising star Simon Kjaer, the Danish defender who has consistently impressed since joining Palermo in 2008. Considering that Juve are likely to offer players in exchange that the Rosanero are interested in, they could have an advantage over the Italian champions for the 20-year-old's purchase. |
