The Rossoneri have reportedly decided Huntelaar's fate. The striker could be used as bait to bring in Tottenham Hotspur's Roman Pavlyuchenko, but Adriano remains first choice... Milan have binned their wait-and-see policy on Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and are ready to show him the door during the January transfer window. According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the club's directors have already decided the Dutchman will be given the axe. The hitman has been disappointing at the San Siro, failing to impose himself under Leonardo. With just six goals between Serie A and the Champions League, a crisis has gripped the club. The Rossoneri will now offer the Dutch forward as bait for other strikers. The report suggests Milan are keen on former Inter striker Adriano, and hope to lure the Brazilian back to the San Siro. Tottenham Hotspur's Roman Pavlyuchenko has also been added to their list. The Russian was linked with Roma in the summer, but that move never took place. It is said Milan may use Huntelaar to entice Spurs into a deal. |
