Hats off to Fulham, they took it to us regardless of our problems, Hodgson deserves it.

No criticism of the goals you're leaking - that is understandable, but your team is woeful, truly awful going forward. Against any decent opposition you look incapable of scoring. The only attacking player you can rely on to create or score is Rooney and even he's the kind of player that needs quality around him to flourish.

Your midfield lacks any consistent quality or creativity to break down any decent defence and that was evident to everyone in the summer. Maybe Ferguson was getting ripped offtrying to buy someone decent but boy you guys are paying for it now.

As for Berbatov, it's like Mary Antoinette - Utd need bread but Ferguson thinks they should make do with cake. If he's one of the players you're relying on to win you any silverware you might as well ask the bank manager now for an extension on that loan.

I'm sure the real Utd fans will accept that you can't win 'em all, the title will be heading elsewhere and perhaps this season is one of evaluation and reflection about where the team must improve and how you will work towards achieving that in the summer.

I take it that it finished 3-0?

This has certainly been a topsy-turvy season so far. Can't remember the last time the "big 4" have lost so many games. Could be very interesting come the end of the season.

Yeah 3.0. Should of been more. I think whoever wins it, it will be with a low total.

I still think that the top 2 or 3 will pull clear towards the end but there is going to be a hell of a battle going on between about 4th and 8th at the rate things are going now.

The goals were bound to fly in eventually with that makeshift defence, it's a surprise it took so long tbh.

Agree about the midfield, especially the centre. The trouble is the players aren't the best and they are getting swapped about every match, there's no consistency there at all. I don't think there's a first choice player for any of the positions besides Valencia on the right wing. That surely has to be a problem and needs to be addressed urgently. For a club like United to only have one of four midfield positions nailed down is a disgwace, forking disgwace of Drogba proportions.

I've not seen the match yet and I wont be seeing it either. :p

Oh and Russia and Az, quit the bitching you boring swines. <_<

Yeh you can't say anything about the defence it's just one of those things

Agree what you're saying about the midfield and here's the problem. If Rooney doesn't do anything up front you lack creativity up front, if Scholes isn't playing (or having an off day) you have the same problem in midfield. It is a disgwace lol but you have to buy a creative midfielder (or 2), an international box to box midfielder and either bring though Macheda, Wellbeck or buy a decent striker to partner Rooney, but one who's flexible enough to play in a 4-3-3 as well.

Too true. :( The problem is the number of players already at the club and what they cost. Anderson, Nani and Carrick in particular...maybe throw the crock into the mix too since he never plays and cost £17m-ish. Is Fergie really gonna just ship these players out or what? I really can't see it happening personally unless he has a falling out with them. Plus no chance they will get the money back what they paid.

Trouble with buying a striker is that it will limit the chances of those two young players and all of the others at the club. Plus you have Berbatov who for £30m should be playing every game.

Lol @ disgwace.

Thing is Flak, I think we could get £10/12M for Nani at least. He needs to do it soon otherwise his value will only diminish as it becomes more and more apparent he is wanted at United.
