Just noticed the Spurs result. They have a good squad that will beat teams in the bottom half of the table, but if they want to finish top 4 they have to beat teams like Fulham as well. I think they'll get squeezed out of the top 6, just don't look consistent or convincing enough.
They need a striker that will score when the pressure's on, imo they don't have one that looks like they could do that atm.
which is kinda ironic with the number of strikers they have. What about Pavluychenko is he playing at the moment?

Nope, no composure at all. He's strong but that's all he's got imo.

Very disappointed with Keane as well, he used to be superb for Spurs but ever since the transfer saga he's just flopped. I hope he finds some form soon cos he can make Spurs tick.

tbh, I don't think him and Defoe work as a partnership. Keane needs a clever player beside him, that's why him and Berba linked up so well. They could read each other. Defoe is not going to contribute that much to link up play so it's left entirely up to Keane.

Yeh good shout but doesnt Keane do a lot of the link up play generally? I agree about Defoe he aint going to offer much else except be on the end of stuff

missed the last 15 minuets of the city game, the computer started acting up :( good to see we won though.... mancini has some work to do still but at least it looks like he's started with tackling the defensive problems head on.... I wonder why adebayor and RSC were left out of the squad altogether though :S

what did you mean when you said you weren't convinced about the attack?

They look like they ae able to play some good football, but they seem to be overcomplicating stuff. we didn't create all that much, we were pretty efficient though.... Robinho played well for about 15 minutes after that he faded badly, and I think that that affected the attack, cause he was the player behind tevez and was supposed to create more... But I think that can be cleared up.... I am wondering about the squad selection though.... it was interesting to say the least... :S

what about team selection, you mean no Cruz or Adebayor? and was it a different formation? was tevez playing much further forward?

yeah them.... I thought at least one of them would be on the bench... could be an ominous sign for them.....

yeah tevez as the deep striker... he played pretty well... the front three had a lot of freedom and wee frequently switching positions which looked ok, but like I said they were overcomplicating things.... Ireland played right wing, on paper at least.... he had a good performance, and petrov started.... I missed a bit of length up front though, which is what got us under pressure in the second half, our defence didn't budge though.... the team played pretty positive football which I was glad about

why surprised? we have been leaking goals... I was expecting hughes to fix that, but he seemed not to be able too.... I am still unsure about his sacking, but if today was an indication for the future (which it might not be) I am positive about mancini

didn't think it was that bad, I thought some of those draws were 0-0 as well. Shocking stuff.

It is Stoke so bit too early to say but I didn't see the game so can't comment on the performance.

I agree which why I said it might not be any indication.... But I did see motivated players and a defence that seemed awake for once.... which was nice, for thw first time in I don't know how long I wasn't worried when the opposition was attacking, which was defiitely better for my heart
