Its a little touch from a guy who knows... Lol. AG you are a bum.

Wolves didnt deserve to lose 3-0 IMO but City had the cutting edge clearly, well done.

Changing my tune since 2008.
City should have been doing this a lot more. I'll reserve judgement until later on as to whether or not Mancini will make a difference long term, but I was right in what I said at the beginning of the season: Hughes would not be able to motivate the team enough to produce regular results. The patch of draws proved this and part of it was a lack of motivation - they felt they had proven their point with early victories and arguably the players are at fault rather than Hughes for the poor form, if anything. Some of them have been turning up for the money a little bit and only time will tell whether or not Mancini will be able to get that little bit extra out of them.

Don't get me wrong, City haven't totally failed. But that pretty much every one of those players each used to go the extra mile every match and stand out for their old clubs. I'm not so convinced that they put that extra effort in which made them such great players in the first place. There's always going to be extra effort given at the beginning of the season to prove a point after the spending spree, and there's always going ot be a reaction to the sacking of a manager. However, I still am apprehensive as to whether or not any manager can keep so many players and egos happy, and motivate them to work that extra bit harder for the whole season if I'm honest. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I've pretty much been proven right so far, even if I've to this point been too negative in the way I've put it.

I am well pleased... we performed well against a wolves side who were really up for it... Once again our defence looked miles better then before... there is still improvement to be made there, and whether that will be the case only time will tell, Tevez was great once more as was bellers.... will mancini be able to get robinho on form? maybe, but if that doesn't happen soon he will most probably go....
