'Just one of those days'.. No we have been abysmal. Berbatov does not deserve to wear the United shirt, fork him.

He was one of our better players in the second half.
Broken record defending him IMO. He did some good things, but over the course of 90 minutes he was was crap. Rooney was trying to carry us.

As for this myth that Berbatov can hold the ball up, what a joke, what a lightweight

He wasn't great, no one was, but he was no worse than any other United player on the pitch. The pitch was a joke today, it's not an excuse for that horrible performance but it really didn't help, can't play two games in a row at OT without it being s**t.

Wes Brown was diabolical, horrendous performance, and has Michael Owen struck a single ball cleanly in a United shirt? The king of scuffs. Rooney missed a host of good chances too but you never expect him to pull out the goods when you most need it. Valencia is a good buy, dangerous at all times, but his crossing is a joke, and his ball to Neville on the overlap was pitiful. Bad day, but it could help us in other competitions.

Major changes are needed at the club after that performance.

Getting knocked out of the cup at home to one of your biggest rivals is bad enough, when they are 2 divisions below you it's forking ridiculous.

Wenger is a really bad loser, but he still does interviews.
But he only ever says one of or a combination of these things, or something very similar, when Arsenal lose:

1) "I did not see anything." :fishing:
2) "They were too physical and it was not fit to be called football." :fishing:
3) "The referee made a very bad decision..." :fishing:

**Disclaimer - Before certain Arsenal fans jump in and feel the need to defend Wenger, this is intended as a joke and is in no way intended to be a properly realistic set of quotes from Wenger. ** :p

You don't watch much football do you?

As for Sicilian, what an embarrassment to United fans and football fans in general. Does not understand the game at all, and his singling out of Berbatov is pathetic.
Comment on the match or argue your point on why you think he's wrong. Not a personal attack on the poster.

Embaressment because I single out a player who has IMO produced fork all for United again? Yet you singled out Brown and you call me an embaressment... Try going to a match to feel a passion for it, then you might understand what its about losing to anyone, let alone Leeds.

thank you

Never seen him hold the ball up every time I seen him Russia and yes I have seen him play a lot over the last 18 months at Utd. Today was a prime example, continuously outmuscled and robbed of the ball. If instead of cheap remarks you can cite a match so I can see good examples of him doing so I'll do my best to try and watch them. If I'm wrong I'll gladly admit it, but as I said I've seen him so many times and I haven't seen it.
