As for this myth that Berbatov can hold the ball up, what a joke, what a lightweight
You don't watch much football do you? As for Sicilian, what an embarrassment to United fans and football fans in general. Does not understand the game at all, and his singling out of Berbatov is pathetic.
Comment on the match or argue your point on why you think he's wrong. Not a personal attack on the poster.
thank you Never seen him hold the ball up every time I seen him Russia and yes I have seen him play a lot over the last 18 months at Utd. Today was a prime example, continuously outmuscled and robbed of the ball. If instead of cheap remarks you can cite a match so I can see good examples of him doing so I'll do my best to try and watch them. If I'm wrong I'll gladly admit it, but as I said I've seen him so many times and I haven't seen it. You either don't watch him enough or fail to spot a key feature in his game. His ability to hold onto the ball in tight areas is unmatched by any other United player, so calling it a myth outlines a lack of knowledge, and that's the bottom line of it.

Embaressment because I single out a player who has IMO produced fork all for United again? Yet you singled out Brown and you call me an embaressment... Try going to a match to feel a passion for it, then you might understand what its about losing to anyone, let alone Leeds. El, that edit you made was shambolic, at least edit it so it still makes sense, luckily it was already quoted.
As for the above quote, what a nerve you've got questioning my support for United. 'Try going to a match', been to plenty mate
I singled out Brown...with around 3 other players from the match, nice one mate. Brown was a mess, an absolute mess. I like Wes Brown, really good player, but today it was mistake after mistake, and you can't afford to keep making them as a defender. It was a horrow show from Wes, you can't deny that. Berbatov on the other hand played no worse than any other attacking player and mistakes were certainly at a premium, so to continually pinpoint him during the game is pathetic and obsessive. Looking for a scapegoat, grow up pal.

I asked a reasonable request and you respond with a general remark without any evidence to back it up and then some pathetic comment about how much football I watch. That literally was my last effort with you. No matter what you wish to say about my posts I won't be responding to you again on this forum.

'Try going to a match', been to plenty mate, what a senseless comment that was I singled out Brown...with around 3 other players from the match, nice one mate. Brown was a mess, an absolute mess. I like Wes Brown, really good player, but today it was mistake after mistake, and you can't afford to keep making them as a defender. It was a horrow show from Wes, you can't deny that. Looking for a scapegoat, grow up pal. Did you mean a 'horror' show or a 'horrow' show, the latter of which is what you actually said?
And stop being so indignant with all your responses. Other people are entitled to opinions and you aren't always right. The way you have responded in this thread does not lend itself at all well to debate which is the whole point of a forum, and levelling insults and accusations at other forum members is also not too great to read. Guys, stop replying back with equally as bad accusations at IRIR regarding his match attendances, just do what Ted is doing and ignore.

It's pretty evident in most matches he plays, the fact you've failed to notice it is worrying from a footballing point of view.

This forum really is going down the sh!tter fast... Ted was talking about Berbatov's hold-up play, and Dasher edits it so my response to it is a general response about Berbatov the player. If Ted didn't see the unedited version, he could've responded to a post of mine that was actually aimed at someone else. You don't just edit posts as a mod, you make sure the conversation continues to make sense to avoid later confusion. Keano manages it perfectly.

what a terrible performance.kuszsczak should have came out much earlier for beckfords goal but that does not excuse brown for some horrendous defending.the whole team were poor but rooney and berba were the best of a bad bunch imo

I was going to comment on the other thread Mu4life but Berbatov gave the ball away or at the very least was robbed of it way too easily for that goal, and yet Brown who isn't playing in his best position and has only recently come back from injury is getting the blame. Berbatov was continuously loose with the ball and was easily dispossessed throughout the 1st half.

Brown is natrually a CB.
Bertaov was good on the ball. There were alot of players who gave the ball away alot easier and alot more times than he did today. Rooney, Gibson, Obertan for example.
