happy with the result. delfouneso showed again why i rate him so highly and young seemed very lively too.

i know the result wont mean anything on tuesday but its always nice to go into a big game on the back of a good result, winning breeds winning and all that malarkey.

Villa definitely deserved to win, but I think Rovers can take a little bit of good out of it. We were down to 10 men for more than half of the match having made 9 changes to our normal team and lost 3-1, and one of those goals was a 90th minute penalty. We also had a penalty saved and Kalinic missed a good opportunity in the second half, so I think going into Tuesday's match we can look at the positives, take some heart from this match and hopefully win. It'll be a close match but I think Rovers will win or draw at home.

I have a consolation for Watford fans - three years ago, Forest produced a pathetic performance at Chelsea and went 3-0 down quickly. Luckily for us, they eased off after the break and there were no more goals.
