V And so here we are, right back where we started from – or at least it is the return fixture from the opening day ambush at Ewood. History Man Citys last major trophy was in 1976 when they won the League Cup – they haven’t won the League since 1968 (42 years and counting!). In the meantime we have managed to squeeze in a Premiership title, League Cup and six cup semi-finals, but we are not a Big Club like them. A number of players have moved between us in the last few years – most recently RSC when City gave us £17m for him to swap warming our treatment table for warming their bench, which sounds like good business to me. A City View (dutchmcfc) So you're currently in 5th in the premiership and in the semi finals of the league cup. Is this as good as expected at the start of the season or better? I think it's about what was expected at the start of the seaon. We are still in the fight for the top 4 and that is important. Personally i am on the whole satisfied, considering our awful draw run What is your view on Hughes departure? Strangely I don't have a strong view on that. I thought hughes wasn't doing well, and I was getting slightly annoyed, but to get a manger change because of that? I dunno. However the issues I had with our defence are definitely being adressed by Mancini. I am still on the fence about mancini, but he has made positive actions so far When will RSC get a game? apparently possibly against you. He has been injured. Mancini has said RSC is an important player to him who was just injured, so perhaps all the attention given to him when missing was conjecture? How much more money will it take to break into the Big Four? I honestly have no clue Which Rovers players should City most fear? Is dunn back? if so then him. haven't seen enough of current blackburn to tell honestly only in MOTD Who should rovers fear most in the City line up? Tevez, De Jong... and if playing SWP Where do you think Rovers and City will both finish this season? I think top 4 for city is still very much on. For blackburn I'd say lower midtable Prediction for the game? prediction 2-0 to city with our defnce seemingly sorted out, albeit with many stand ins due to an injury wave, I think we'll have enough forward quality to score a couple |

I'm only going to watch this if Vieira is playing to see how he gets on. I think City will drop there first points under Mancini 1-1 |

City should win this but you never know, they always give the opposition a chance. Be interesting if Cruz plays and scores... |

Vieira got a knock in his last game for inter, so he might not be avaible yet. RSC and SWP are still uncertain due to injuries. |

well at least this one won't be called off The club is delighted to announce that tonight’s Premier League fixture with Blackburn Rovers will go ahead. The club has received praise from all quarters for the tireless work that has taken place - day and night - over the weekend to ensure all areas and major walkways around the ground are free of ice and snow. Following a meeting with the city council, the police and club officials this morning, the green light has now been given to play the game, and only a serious deterioration in the weather conditions in the next few hours will put the game at risk.
