I look at the results today makes me further believe that Liverpool will be up there end of the season in the top 4. They throw away two points in the early games so you'd think the others would have stepped up. City and Spurs had the chance to go seven and six points clear of Liverpool respectively and didn't. |

True Sicilian, but despite Liverpool's poor form they are still only 4 points behind those three teams mentioned above. The gap between 4th and 5th the last couple of seasons has been 9 points so they need to be well ahead to stand half a chance of not being overtaken. Imo the reality is them 3 aren't fighting for 4th, they're fighting for 5th and 6th. |

17 games is a long way to go. Putting that in perspective, if it was the start of the season in August and after a couple of games Spurs, City and Villa were 4 points ahead of Liverpool, wd you not expect Liverpool to be in the top 4 by Xmas/New Year. ah man why the frig do I have to be the one that has to go get the friggin chicken wings!!!

a draw will be enough against both or beating one and losing to the other (they still have to play each other). Another 34 points from your remaining games shd secure 4th spot and seeing as you're better, more consistent in the second half of the season that's do-able. what the fork are bingo wings? worst thing is they weren't even for me!

Get the 6 best teams from both leagues over the last few years and you have United, Chelsea, Barca, Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool. That's why the PL top 4 is much harder to penetrate for hopefuls. |
