well done citeh  never a pen in a month of sundays that tho.. rooney was superb for utd
why're you biting you're tongue?
dont want to get banned again :)
ahhh

Rooney was very good. I really hope we won't have 4 deep lying midfielders in the second leg.... The whole hanging back tactic got me waay to nervous

he may go defensively at the old toilet to soak up the pressure and then use the pace of bellamy and tevez to hit them on the break tbh

the moment rooney had the partner, he was aloud to drop deeper and make things happen taking players on for fun it was like the old Wayne Rooney

i really think his talents are being wasted
Hmmm he doesn't always play like that though in that role and you still have the problem of who to play with him further forwards. :S

But putting pressure on yourself against united is asking for trouble imo... I hope Ireland plays in the second leg...

I cannot see adebayor play anvil... as far as I know he is still in Togo

aye it is indeed but sitting 2 banks of 4 in front of given and saying break us down could do the job because other than rooney utd dont look like creating a thing tbh

Think it might have been against France? :S

Wes Brown created as many chances as some of the midfielders tonight.

I think vs wolves... he´s been injured

at fields

I think that was true till owen came on... after that we looked very shaky.... so no not much inspiration with only one player up front

I don't think Owen actually did that much, there was just more urgency about United and that made City go further back (City's subs helped).
