If fergie is to get through this next leg he must partner owen with rooney imo, it suited rooney much more being able to roam around the play his natural game

hardly the better team. You dominated in the first half, yes, but you didn't create all that much. and till tevez's second goal we were the team on top. after that you had quite a few chances I'll agree, but I thoughtthe teams were pretty evenly matched
:unsure: cmon dutch you couldnt get the ball in the 1st half,as you said yourself we dominated,only for given, rooney would have had a hatrick, even my mates who are blues couldnt belive they won it.

You created what exactly in the first half? one chance which became a goal... Possesion is nothing without creating chances... and till tevez scored you had one opportunity, it was only after Owen came on and Rooney could roam that you created chances, and yeah then we had Given. Still on the whole I thought the teams were pretty evenly matched
