, rooney saves utd again
IMO utd were better defencively had more possesion and created more chances in both legs, one goal didnt save us being the better team did.

when the interview with mancini went on at the end you could tell the interviewer was trying to get him to say that we deserved to win, or trying to force some sort of humble comment uniteds way  mancini wouldn't give it up though

that one goal won the tie is what im referring to, not the peformance of individual players per say

But that one goal would have been useless without the two before it. :S

I didn't see the post match interviews. :( Mancini must have been doing some research on the United/City rivalry before the games.

rooney and fletcher had one interview (because fletcher got MOTM). rooney said fletcher was world class and wouldnt swap him for any player in the world

then mancini did one where he said they deserved more from the game, and that city were unlucky for 10 minutes of the game when united scored their goals.

How did Fletcher get man of the match? Rooney's a comedian in his spare time. :D

City didn't deserve more because they didn't take their chances. :p Great left footed shot from Richards btw.

United were. :woo: Just a shame about the boring first half really. Would have liked the whole match to be like the second half.

Wouldn't go that far, a season winning the Carling Cup and a season winning nothing...there's not much difference. It's still failure for United if they don't win one of the others.

That's because United are a big club. :ph43r:

I'd be happy for Villa if they won it, they've deserved something for their efforts the past couple of years.

Could be the difference between buying another player or paying another £10m on your loan payments. The monetry value alone makes it worth it. I just realised Utd have been in a cup final every year for the last 7 seasons now. You better hope they keep coming :ph43r:

But that's a poor attitude Flak, not many trophies going, especially for the big 4.
always remember you're unique - just like everyone else
