Arsenal wasted too many chances, they better get Bendtner and Eduardo back by next week.
Definitely missing a striker now. Wenger waited too long tbh, to bring on Walcott and Bendy.
I had acrappy link but it seemed that quite a few of Utd's chances came from Arsenal fluffing theirs. It could have so eaily been such a different result today.
I've never seen our defending so poor. Not even against Chelsea in November. It was actually non-existent. Gallas was nowhere to be seen for the second goal and Clichy was all alone for the third.
We created chances so that's not really an issue but you have to put them away. And we could have been more creative today - too many of our players didn't show up. Then we started with Denilson, which is like having one less player <_<

United were good today but what hurts is that they weren't THAT good - because they didn't need to be. They looked like they could have upped it if they needed to, we didn't even make them work for it.

Against Chelsea we probably won't even get half the chances we had today, so we shoulda taken them.
Yeh agree with all of that. A lot's been said of the arsenal defending in this thread, but I think if you had finished your chances you wd have had Utd on the back foot and probably won.

Perhaps, but Arsenal don't do well playing like they did today. Go behind to a top team and we'll lose everytime cos we'll get caught on the break and because our defenders like to move upfront and attack, they get caught out too easily.

United weren't as hot today as they've been before but they had sooo much more discipline it's unreal.

CHAMPIONE CHAMPIONE OLE OLE OLE.

VDS you were unreal, world class even now this lad, what a keeper, Rafael did well, really played maturely, and Brown and Evans were superb. Evra offered fork all going forward for once so had an average game but wtf was Fergie thinking playing Scholes in DM. Wtf was going through his mind he changed it about half an hour too late but thank fork he did. Carrick was excellent, Fletcher was good and Paul Scholes again was utter class. Park and Nani were both sensational, the energy, the pace, the drive, majestic. Nani has THE perfect footballing built he really is a special talent and if I coached him I'd develop him into a world class player because he has all the ingredients and they just need a bit of honing. What a piece of play son he absolutely butchered Clichy for pace, absolute roadrunner this lad, and then to wait until he was covered by two defenders, he cleverly flicks between them Ronaldoesque, drops the shoulder and darts past another defender and then floats a typical Nani ball to the back post and if Almunia didn't touch it it would've resulted in a goal anyway and despite it being an own goal it must be a contender for goal of the forking season. The second goal was pathetic, Rooney holds the ball up well half way inside his own half, finds Nani with a stabbed low drilled ball who takes it in his stride, he runs forward like a train on acid and plays the perfect little ball into Rooney's path, who has just run 100 yards in forking no time like the forking Gezel this lad is, and he curls it home with a true striker's finish. WHAT A BLOODY GOAL SON, what a counter, it was equally as good as Ronaldo's goal last year it was magnificent. Then to top it off Park scores another great counter but in general I thought United were absolute superb. That is how you apply yourself in a game of football, we were without the best CB pairing in world football yet again but does it affect us no, we're Manchester United and my word we're forking winners. You Gooners have been well and truly silenced because you've just been taught an absolute lesson and United have dominated you again. Wayne Rooney missed a s**t load of easy chances but my word he was a man possessed and is the best counter attacker in world football like I've said all along. When he was running at Eboue the intelligence of that big touch was magnificent and left the little African on his arse, scintillating from Wayne Rooney.

If Rooney had had the role he's having this season, coulda been different. Shame he was having to squeeze his chubby little behind into Ronaldo's shadow. He's been on point this season.

My views.

Man Utd Defence:
Very disciplined, Arsenal had a lot of chances but they dealt with it well and never looked under any great pressure. Rafael impressed me defensively for once. Evans was collossal but looked more nervous as the game went on and started making silly mistakes. Brown looked a bit rusty, not sure how much time he's getting tbh.

Man Utd midfield:
Fletcher was absolute crap, couldn't complete a pass for his life. Carrick did ok, didn't stand out in any way good or bad. Scholes was brilliant at picking out passes and putting players into space as usual.

Man Utd frontline:
Park did nothing besides the goal, pretty much anonymous. Nani was unbelievable first half, looked really up for the game and impressed a lot. Rooney was forking wink, consistently poor decision making throughout the game.

Arsenal Defence:
The quicker Almunia is put back on the bench the better, shocking. Sagna didn't have to do a lot considering Park was on his wing. Clichy was repeatedly caught out by Nani and was easily isolated for 2 v 1 situations. Gallas and Vermaelen were brilliant imo, both were exceptional when they're tackling mattered. Too bad they lack some discipline in regards wandering forward.

Arsenal midfield:
Fabregas tried his best but being the only player that's expected to do something took it's toll on him imo. Song did alrite as DM not outstanding but not that bad either. Denilson...........................didn't even realise he was on the pitch until he was subbed off. he must have the most pointless job in the team. Pick the ball up from defensive players and give it to creative players, could easily be taken out without a problem.

Arsenal frontline:
Or lack there of. Rosicky 100% anonymous, can't remember him doing a single thing tbh. Arshavin was very poor imo, consistently extremely greedy. Always looking to shoot instead of checking if a team mate was in a better position. How he stayed on past half time amazed me. Nasri was quite good imo, but showed that he, obviously, isn't a striker. good play around the box but that was it.

Overall:
1-3 was very harsh on Arsenal imo. They would have won this game quite easily if they had an outlet up front. In the end, Man Utd looked the more disciplined, or mature, of the two teams. Everything was done incisively and calmly whereas Arsenal seemed to constantly try rush things all throughout the match.

well they said the next 4 games will decide arsenal's season but seems like quite a few think it's been decided already?

So is it Champions League or nothing then?

We won't stand a chance if we don't have a decent forward.

I did read everything else you said but for me, this part sums it all up. Arsenal have the quality to beat most of the teams in the league but we don't seem to have the maturity or discipline for the bigger teams. Which is worrying because we usually perform quite well against them :S How can we be less mature now than before??
