If Denilson and Almunia are in our starting 11 next week, I'll not even bother watching.

Was furious at Song's yellow card when he clearly got ball first. Made Song play within his shell for the rest of the game. Unbelievable

i don't think you can blame that yellow card for Singsong underperforming for the rest of the game cesc. Players get yellows all the time, Song included.

Doesn't change the fact that it was a ridiculous fueled only by the fact that whatever wan-ker from Man Utd it was rolling around on the floor like he had been assaulted FFS. I'd be ashamed if an Arsenal player did that.

it was Nani, and he's not a w*nker. he was a fundamental player for us that day and deserved all the praise he has been getting. i know you are p!ssed that your team lost, i'd be the same, but you can't blame Nani for the fact that Song and the rest of your team under performed. and yeah, i agree with the theatrics, it was unnecessary yes. but ALL footballers do it, Arsenal players included. and like it says elsewhere in the thread, most footballers do it to get the refs attention. so i'd say you would spend a lot of time being ashamed.

But Song needn't have been booked if Nani wasn't such an idiot to roll around on the floor like that, I've seen most players just dust themselves off and get up after a crunching, fair challenge.

the yellow was unfair, i said so myself in this thread at the time. but, nani had his foot stepped on which i'm sure hurt him so it's not like he was unharmed. im not condoning his over reaction, but he is no different to any other footballer who would have done the exact same thing to show the ref that he was hurt. if you are gonna call Nani a w*nker for that then 99% of footballers should fall under the same name.

Not really, it was a coming together of 2 players. as clear as day to the naked eye and if that deserved a booking, then call me Charlie

cesc, read my post. i said it didnt deserve a booking...twice i've said it. yeah the two players clashed, but if you watched as closely as you have just made out you would have 1) known it was Nani who Song clashed with, and 2) saw that Song stepped on Nani's foot. now, i'm no footwear expert but if you get studs in your foot it's gonna hurt a fair bit.
