and Nani was clearly stepped on by Song. its irrelevant if it was a 50/50 challenge or not, the fact is that there was just as high a chance (if not more so) that Nani was genuinely hurt as there was that Fabregas was genuinely hurt. then proceeds to go down and roll around like a little child trying to get their sibling in the shite with Daddy. just like Fabregas then. This is crazy, i am genuinely starting to believe that you are saying these ridiculous things just to wind me up now. No sane person could look at those two incidents and dismiss one as theatrics and the other as totally genuine. |

I did watch the game and I did see that moment when Song challenged Nani for the ball. It was at the Emirates Stadium I believe?

"I never said Fabregas's was genuine, I don't understand what your trying to say" "He got slapped in the neck region, I'd find it painful too :S" "No Fabregas was cleanly struck by Robben's flailing arm in that particular situation." Those bottom 2 statements appear to defend Fabregas, which you then deny in the top one. If neither (Nani/Fabregas incidents) were genuine then they are just as bad as each other surely? The point i (and Mercedes) are trying to make is that you are lambasting (my word of the day) Nani for doing something that Fabregas does, but then have been trying to somehow make it seem like one was worse than the other. |

Not really, Fabregas was hit with a flailing arm right near his face, against the rules of the game and therefore there is something to show for letting the ref know he has been struck high. In terms of nani he has been struck within the parameters of a completely legal challenge by Song and goes around doing what Fabregas did when struck unfairly in a tussle for the ball. Fabregas received a minor hit and vastly over exaggerated its impact. Nani received a minor hit and vastly over exaggerated its impact. Whether it was in a genuine or illegal challenge is irrelevant. You claimed that you would be ashamed if an Arsenal player did what Nani did, but when shown the evidence you don't follow that sentiment through. |

I cannot believe people are still going on about this. Yes, Fabregas acted like a pussyhole and will do it again. Yes, Nani acted like a pussyhole and will do it again. Yes, they both recovered incredibly quickly from their 'injuries'. Yes, they both attempted to sway the referees. |
