which midfielder said that? Arsenal would have been in trouble with a second free kick tbh, i had a bad enough feeling about the first |

gerrard he said the ref told him and the liverpool team that is anyone handballs during a free kick he would give a pen.... then it happens and he doesnt do it I aint sure if it was a free kick or a pen, media suggests a pen, i personally didnt have a good view since I was watching on sopcast but howard webb is a coward, its not the fact he missed it but its the fact he is lying he was 3 yards away, no way can he claim he didnt see it |

Seriously? he's the last player who should have anything to say. Wonder if the ref said anything to him about diving |

play him in a deeper role and he will get back to his best imo he played some splendid passes when he went cm, created 3 openings when he caught out the arsenal left back, too bad degen is a forking disgwace you gotta look at this logically blah, gerrard is not superman if he is played up the field then how can be play good if he doesnt get the ball quickly? attacking midfield players and strikers need quick and good service, we have not been giving that |

the foul was given to kuyt no he should be the last person to say anything, the hand ball has nothing to do with him diving |

It would have been a freekick, they showed it on sky and MOTD last night. Even Hansen couldn't try and claim it would have been a penalty |

cesc should have been sent off thats for sure, 2nd yellow card for what looked like deliberate handball. the ref waived away gerrards claim for a free kick but seconds later kuyt was pushed from behind resulting in said free kick. i probably would have booked gerrard if following booking given to bendtner |

it doesn't matter, he was still diving around all over the place and my view on it is that if you yourself have blatantly tried to con the referee, it's a bit rich to be chatting on about it after he's failed to take action on someone else's cheating |

a good post that i read... "Arsenal have a weakness to the quick counter when they face players running at them from deep. Rooney, park, lampard and drogba all confirmed this in the last two games! What did Rafa the genius do? Lined a midfield that had limited pace and no ball carriers in it! Stevie G was isolated up front and was asked to win flick ons and chase down the oppostions back four, he should have been employed next a dm and should have been used as a focal point for any break( like lampard for chelsea second) Babel pace was badly needed to make the counter attack work ( Anelka offered the same threat for Chelsea) and for the life of me i don't understand what Riera has done wrong to be out in the cold again but i don't think its to the benefit of LFC. The last 15 minutes, Arsenal created fork all, we pressed higher up, we created a few chances and set the standard! Why can't we start like that.....ever year we line up with the same tactic and every year we come away with very little! When do you realise your methods are wrong?" how true is the above? arsenal have a huge weakness against a counter attack system with good passers in the middle and good dribblers out wide with pace what do we do? play 2 players in the middle who cant pass... 2 wingers who have no pace and cant dribble... |

i understand your point lfc...im not blaiming gerrard soley, i do however believe hes not been performing to the standards hes capable of. a player of his quality shouldnt have to rely on others to provide, hes done it in the past at times without them why not now? the eagerness and urgency seemed to be lacking imo. he just looks disinterested. stacie we are talking about the handball, you cant make excuses for it by saying that player was diving around, its like countering a point with something totally irrelevant |

Did you see his reaction at Degen last night, e played a 50 yard pass right to his feet and degen being the loser that he is runs it out of play, Gerrard just put his head down and turned awayin disgust. TBH I think he has finally given up |

how could you blame him? he gets 10 minutes in cm, finally he can get the ball and dictate the play, plays 2-3 40 yard passes that releases players and they cant even control the forking ball when its in front of them
