what happened then guys? :(

i read that united were the better team even after playing with 10 men. was nanis two yellows or a straight red? really gutted coz we had the chance to top the table without chelsea having any games in hand :( nevermind. still chuffed that they lost their game though. saha to thank i heard ^_^ he better not be the same next week considering everton is our next PL game.

AC Milan next
Tbh, we just couldnt break them down. We actually played very well. It was near enough a perfect example of how to play with ten men. We just needed that something extra in the final third which, being a man down, wasnt easy. And lets not forget who was in nets for the other team <_<

Aston Villa vs Man United - O. Goal continues his blistering run of form for the reds as United missed the opportunity to go top after Villa all but lay down for them in the second half. Presumably cautious after last seasons second half collapse in the race for fourth, Villa seemed far more concerned with protecting a point despite facing 10 men, a home crowd and a referee almost purposefully trying to get every single decision completely wrong. Antonio Valencia continued to show how wonderfully adept he is at not using his left foot on any occasion, no matter how useful it could prove to be, and Martin O?Neill?s penchant for wearing football boots continues to baffle me. You aren?t going to bring yourself on are you Martin? Are you?

Flak, you arent honestly insinuating that Valencia playing poorly was nanis fault
Course not but it does seem like flavour of the month Nani was being exempt from critisism even though he got sent off and was nothing special before that. Didn't think there was much wrong with Valencia's performance.

Tbh I think Milan catch catch you guys out, your a little weak in cm and with pirlo there and if seedorf they could play around you, Ronaldinho is playing well atm and pato is back from injury for these games so it wont be easy

If we play fletcher, scholes and carrick we will destroy that midfield. Purlo keeps them going but with fletcher not giving him a moments peace I'd be more than confident as it is pirlo who supplies the rest of the team. Cut pirlo out and we cut their attack out.

He was still good though. This is exactly what I said would happen a couple of weeks back; unless he's brilliant in every match people will start getting on his back again, even though every single player in the team gets away with it.

Doesn't mean he should have no critiscism when he's poor though...
