The reporter asked him if he was getting frustrated in the first half (presumably because he wasn't getting much of the ball) and he said "no, not at all" then if I recall he said something like he was moreso in the second half because certain people weren't doing their jobs but he didn't want to say more incase he got in trouble
Doesn't make sense t me because there were less United players doing their jobs in the first half. :S
That's what I was thinking. United had the better second half so why would he get frustrated by the players? Rooney gets stroppy with his players if he doesn't get the right pass though, he shot Nani a disdain filled glare in the first half because the ball didn't go straight to his feet :D

Hmmm, that's strange.... it's not like the media to twist something slightly in search of a bit of juice :S

Acc to someone on another forum the reporter asked "did you let your feelings be known?", straight after Rooney said that.

He said "yes but after the booking I learnt my lesson."

If that's true then it was defo aimed at the ref.

Didn't think Carrick was that bad (not stand out bad like Evans) although dissapointed with him for getting sent off like that right at the end with so little time left.

 Thanks Stacie, it's loud and clear now.

VDS did well, Scholes was excellent pity he is coming towards the end of his career forking brilliant footballer. Valencia came on, got at the LB and did well. Would of taken a 3-2 win before the match. LFC your wumming in this thread was unbelievable, justice was done. We finished our chances. Carrick sending off was soft, but then again ref and linesmen were poor overall.

Yeh, hard to see Milan winning by 2 goals, but if Milan score first then it could get a bit squeaky bum. Utd need to score first and then keep their s**t tight at the back.
