Emmanuel Eboue can do a better job on the right side than Sagna and Walcott combined. I'll be p***ed off if i see Sagna and Walcott both in the team with no Eboue again this season. |

Not starting Walcott would be a good start. |

I wonder what Arsenal would be like if we had a strong Drogba-esque striker

Definitely NOT a Terrorist

you would be ALMOST the perfect team how many times when games are 50-50 you see someone like drogba/torres/villa create something out of nothing and turn the game to their favour arsenals only issue is their lead striker and another top cm to partner with fabrega and song |

Yeah, I know injuries are not an excuse but I think Arsenal are not doing too badly considering the loss of RvP |

walflop had another shocker, fabregas was poor for most of the game, eboue or ramsey were the best of an underperforming team but i think the biggest worry is that every time the smoggies attacked they looked like scoring. |

Think they had better chances than we did, to be honest. It was a poor performance so i'm grateful they managed to win. With each game I'm seeing four things more and more. 1. Desperate for a striker 2. Defence is always, always shaky 3. Whatever you think about his 'skills', Eboue has the kind of character strength that the other players will need if they're going to start winning trophies. 4. I've forgotten what this one is. |

When you have Silvestre in your defence, expect to be shaky.

A) we are doing EXTREMELY well without RVP around the traps and he will be back before long. Sounds like my main man Eboue did the job today, I've always known how fantastic he is ![]() Keeping up with the pack, bring on the title fight boys!! Also, some ridiculous calls early in the thread about Bendtner, he is a fantastic striker compared to many in the Prem

Watching MOTD and I'm thinking, Walcott will come good but there are three things he needs: 1) Better support from the fans 2) Better support from the players 3) Better support from the manager, which should lead to 4) A total shift in position No good him bursting down the wing if the other players aren't there and he's struggling to get crosses in. Admittedly lately his decision making isn't always the best but he's shown before that he can get it right, and not just for Arsenal. He needs to play either down the middle where Fabregas can release him with a good pass or on the other side, where he's looked more comfy in the past. We've got the player now, it's not about just letting him rot, Wenger has to take responsibility. Walcott was bought in a stage where he was a young talent and now he's just like this scared little boy trying too hard to impress all the time as a right winger when he blatantly shouldn't be one. |
