Yeah, Valencia looked dangerous again. After watching the midweek game, Villa should have made controlling him a priority.
Still, Villa weren't thrashed, dominated or embarrassed and it's well easy for us all to be like 'ah they should have/could have done that'.

Rooney was LW when he came on with Park through the middle. Maybe something we'll see against Milan.

well done united, probably deserved overall but we had some golden chances too.

ref was pathetic, no more need be said.

young , downing, petrov and heskey didnt turn up, dunne recovered well after his blunder. gabby and milner were sensational though.

United. :champion:

Nice finish from Owen, shame that he went off injured because he was actually looking pretty good for once. Thought his interview was funny where he kept repeating that he's been fit all season.

Villa pretty disappointing in the second half. Hardly created anything. I'm sure the experience will benefit them though.

Thought Dunne gave a good interview at the end with what he said about the foul for the penalty.

Saying ref bottled it, he has sent off 5 United players in recent seasons. It was the 4th minute. If he would of went then so would Collins as Owen would of been in on goal as he had acres to move into.

Well done United, Berbatov was good today ran like fork. Nice touches, Park was better than normal. Rooney so unlucky not to get a double. Valencia :champion: :yahoo:
How do you know that incident would have happened had Vidic walked?

A striker would have been taken off for a cb if vidic was sent off. Who knows what would have happened

all we do know is villa vs a 10 men united is a great great chance for them. no justice was done at all today

the difference being collins had dunne for cover just behind him where there was nobody near gabby and vidic. completely different scenarios indeed.

Think the referee didn't just want to ruin the game with not even 5 minutes on the clock tbh. If that tackle had been made near half time then I reckon he'd have been sent off.

must admit treboc is taking this robbing pretty well, top 4 fans (bar chelsea who dont hardly any) would have gone mental if that happened against them

there are two views

following the rules

not following them

one is correct, the other is not and is cheating.
