I would not be surprised by a Man United win. They are strong, they have that cup final experience and the ability to rise to the occasion, plus they would do it to spite me <_< They haven't managed to beat Villa yet this season if memory serves me correctly so it would be just typical for this to be the day

Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me to see a Villa win if they look good. It's just one of those games. I haven't seen every Man United game this season obviously but I can't recall them overcoming a strong team performance :S I'm sure a Man United fan will have an example if I'm wrong tho. Although - Villa's last game wouldn't have been massively encouraging for Villa fans, tbh...

berbatov cant play, biggest mistake united make will be playing him imo

should be used for tough games

rafael with the wingers villa got?

-----------------------------------------------VDS-----------------------------------

Brown------------------Vidic-----------------------------------Evans----------=---Evra

Valencia----------------Fletcher--------------Scholes--------------Carrick----------Nani

-----------------------------------------------ROoney-----------------------------------
Rafael should definetly play. Brown is needed to play CB cos Evans has been s**t recently and he is way too slow to be up against Agbonlahor. And A.Young has done fork all this season anyway, Rafael should be able to handle him.

rafael is a poor full back, especially defensive wise. he will get totally ripped apart by the wingers of villa, you need experience and a solid defender on both full back slots. doesnt matter if brown is slow, he is a good enough defender. look at carragher, he has been very good at right back for us and you cant get anything slower than him

plus evan struggles with a lot of movement and pace, heskey/carew is nothing like that tbh

no

He is far from poor. And as i said, Young has done much this season and Rafael will no doubt be able for him. Evans is slow. And neither of Heskey/Carew will probably play, it will be Agbonlahor.

He got motm against palace and burnley (our last 2 games) and has looked threatening of late. Although I'd be more worried of downing tbh, he has looked very good.

Evans will be much better defensively in a partnership with Vidic. Rio and Evans doesn't work for me.

Yeh I know Sicilian, just making the point that if Evans is playing CB tomorrow with Vidic next to him, they'll be alright. (I wouldn't have him there if he had been partnering Rio though)

Oh yeah, Vidic and Evans is certainly better than Rio and Evans. Defo believe Evans can become a big player for us.

I actually think it's going to be a good game tomorrow. I know the pitch can be a bitch, but I can't decide who I think will win and that's always good before a game. Both teams will be attacking because each will think they can win.

Is he gonna feast on some pies? :S

But what about the United fear factor Father? Plus Villa don't have any experience of matches like this so may feel the nerves.

I have had a bet with someone at work that United will win, he thinks Villa will win 3-1 (something to do with when they have met us previously in the CC) I said a close game but United to prevail by the same scoreline.
