Anyone have any idea on just how fit Torres is? I seriously hope he isn't being rushed back. But it's make or break time.

Only changes I would possibly make to that team would be Kelly at RB and Masch in midfield instead of Lucas but all in all it looks a decent attacking lineup.

Well he's been available for our last 2 games before this so I'd say he's at least 90% fit (physically) by now. Match-fit is a different story.

i dont honestly see the issue with masch at right back, his main attribute is his ability to tackle, we have lost johnson, carra needed in midfield and kelly aint long back from an injury, as fantastic as we have seen him play so far he is still just a youngster lets not forget. Masch has the potential to do quite well at right back so why not utilise his tackling ability there?

And our left side is where we're most dangerous, with Olsson and Pedersen/Hoillet, so you need your best tackler on the right side of your defence.

aye, would rather have someone who i know is good in the tackle to protect that side than risk a youngster right now, Kelly has shown great promise but he is still inexperienced and it wouldnt take much of a slip up to prove a real problem.

I disagree that tackling is his main attribute, I think he is as good as he is due to his positioning and reading of the game. But yeah as you said he won't make an awful right back and if we were stuck I wouldn't mind. To me it's plainly to let Lucas play. Kelly should be starting, or Carragher right back and Ayala centre back. He did well at the start of the season.
