Cause the FAI are broke monty and they knew they'd not sell out croker.

What a shambles of a squad and team. Given and Kilbane are the ultimate cap whores.

The FAI can't get a friendly for themselves?? The deal for Croker was with the IRFU & FAI no outsoucing was allowed. FAI are a shambles and forgot. Dopes couldn't even organise a friendly

All Brazil friendlies are done through Kentaro. And the match was "given" to us, didn't go out and look for it. If the GAA weren't going to deal with them what could the FAI do?

They didn't need to take the game though. Could of said no if they wanted. They knew the story on Croker before that

Why would they turn the game down? It would have been stupid. They were invited by Brazil/Kentaro and took it.

It's a pointless game. Who cares if we play Brazil or Benin. It doesn't matter. We should be playing somebody like Malta in Dalymount

Weren't Brazil kinda forced into this friendly by FIFA? :S
Yeah they didn't want to play such a poor nation who will pose no threat and is inadequate oppoition in the build-up to the World Cup. :fishing: Seriously though, why would they be forced and why the hell is it in England?
They're playing on the best playing surface in europe, durrr. B)
