Rooney has declared himself fit. Can't really remember the squad but how do you think they will line up? Especially the defence with Ferdinand and Cole both out and no recognised number 1. Egypt are decent, will be a good test. |

Of course Rooney's fit. I bet there was nothing wrong with him in the first place. He should absolutely not be playing in this game anyway. |

There was something wrong with his knee apparently. I agree although I guess Capello needs to play them together quite a few times before the World Cup comes around. He will probably be taken off at half time.

Provides good practice for Algeria in the WC. Egypt are 10th in the FIFA rankings, so should be a difficult enough test. |

James who? I thought there was only one James in the England team...David James. ![]() Didn't Algeria knock Egypt out in the qualifying? Wonder if Mido will be playing. Don't think Brown has played right back all season. Are there no others? |

Not as dreadful as Dunne's mistake on Sunday.

Changing my tune since 2008.

I don't get why Robinson isn't even in the team for this. Absolute farce - he's been keeping a few clean sheets (not easy at a club like Rovers) and was a major reason why we were 2nd in the PL form table (last 6 matches) before the Liverpool match at the weekend and he still doesn't even get called into the squad. He'll never get back in imo, and its a real shame, but hopefully will keep being consistently great for Rovers. Edited by footyfan000, Mar 2 2010, 05:43 PM.

Capello seems to know who he wants in his squad now, don't think anybody new will be getting called up. It's not like there's much competition for the goalkeeping spot though. Foster will probably be going and he drops clangers and hardly ever plays. |

Time for the players to stand up and be counted on and off the pitch according to Capello.

Haven't the foggiest, even Arsenal fans haven't been impressed with him. I'm guessing he wouldn't have been in if Lennon was fit.
