I'd hazard a guess that you'd probably lose 5 quid :)
remember what you said about players not playing for the shirt

i fully expect babel and aa to make an instant impact and the likes of gerrard to pull his finger out. a reaction will come

if it doesnt then i lost all hope
I thought AA actually had one of his best performances for us against Wigan - he was about the only player who passed the ball crisply and actually got it to his intended target on a very slow pitch. Shame he got in the way of that chance near then end though.

I hope AA does start and I would definitely give Babel a go from the start too.

As it is away from home I would play:

.............................Reina.............................

Johnson........Carra...........anyother.....Insua

...............AA/SG..................Masch...............

Kuyt....................AA/SG...................Babel

...........................Torres..............................

If Johnson is at RB you can pretty much guarantee that Kuyt will be infront of him. Especially as we are away from home.

Yea thats true tbf. I would expect to see Johnson get 90 mins here put I am really hoping AA and Babel also get 90 mins. Its really necessary to get some minutes under their belt

Yep, I'll be pretty disappointed if those 2 aren't given a full go of it tonight. Even if they are not playing that great I think it really is time to give them some minutes rather than justa cameo appearance and expect instant magic from them.

i like the team but if we are serious about players deserving their spot then kuyt must be dropped for reira imo

What can you tell us about Lille?

They are doing well at the moment and are currently in fifth position in the league. They have a number of small players who are quite fast. I don't know if you are aware of a Belgian player called Eden Hazard, but he's a huge young talent. I think he is only about 19 years old. He is the reigning Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year. I think it is only a matter of time until he is playing in one of the best teams in Europe because he is one of the finest young talents around.

That seems like a fitting answer to end the interview, but we can't let you go without getting your score prediction for the match on Thursday?

I think Lille might edge the first leg 2-1, but Liverpool will win the second-leg by a bigger margin, something like 3-1. I think Liverpool will go through but it won't be as easy as some people may think.
