Dont know why i bother some times, eco was right theres no point even debating on this forum amount of people on here that just assume their view is right and everybody elses in wrong is crazy
Show me where United fans defend Webb? Other than his decision on the ref? Where Berger also said he though it was a pen.
Fist off show me i mentioned Howard Webb in relation to that post. Second off people here are just randomly saying clutching at straws then are they?
Because when we started talking I responded in response to you saying United fans defending Howard Webb. To which I said he was not being defended, just the penalty decision was. And its clutching at straws, because LFC said something.. Goslow showed him the rules. He changed his story to try and fit around the rule, was showed a video which in some opinions shows it as a penalty, others as not. how did i change my story?
i saw the video and said i was wrong at first and that it wasnt a pen still

how did i change my story? i saw the video and said i was wrong at first and that it wasnt a pen still dont make s**t up Im not making fork all up. You were on about it being a free kick because it was 2 offences, as he let go then grabbed him again in the area. Then you said he held him into the area but should of been a free kick because thats where the foul started. I quoted you about 6000 pages back.

OK game to watch but not a classic unfortunately. I was impressed with both managers' comments afterwards. Sometimes it's refreshing to see a balanced view. Of the two, Rafa summed it up perfectly imo. - Quote:
-
"I think it was very tight. They didn't have too many chances, we didn't have too many.
"Between two top sides the difference is always little things and they were better at these things.
"It was a great goal (from Torres), a great header. But we conceded too early and in the second half you could see they are a good team, no doubt about this, but they didn't have too many options and it could have been a draw, with a little bit of luck."
Benitez had no complaints when asked about United's equaliser, with Rooney scoring on the rebound after his initial penalty had been superbly saved by Jose Reina.
"It appears that it was inside so it was a penalty, and Carra was there so it was a yellow card."
that was before he saw the replay like everyone else. check on bbc, he doesnt agree with the pen
I prefer to go with the more honest appraisal btw you are boring now LFC19, you used to have a sense of humour, now you just fill threads with spam. Same shite regurgitated over and over and over again. Make your point once or twice and then move on ffs.
why not say that to others? you trying to make yourself look big again? no mate, but after 10 pages of you saying the same thing I kinda know what you think about the incident. Repeating it endlessly won't change the decision or the result. It's fair to say some people thought the decision was wrong, some thought the decision was right. I didn't know about the Fifa rule that Goslow posted but it is the law of the game although I agree with another poster who said it defies logic. Bottom line is you and Sicilian aren't going to budge on this so why not talk about other aspects of the game instead?

I have no time for this nonsense.
A penalty was given, the better team on the day won. Get over it.
