YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! GET IT UP YA YA goblins!!!

forking excellent today lads. Vidic had that wee tranny forker marshalled all day. The goblin was lucky to last the 90 after his persistent fouling and constant bitching. And as for him kicking the penalty spot, what a forking scumbag. Carragher s**t himself every time Rooney got the ball today. He could learn a thing or two from vidic ;)

Park and carrick were disgracefully bad but park more than made up
for it :D forking delighted!
Ok what match were you watching....

Utd were far from excellent with the exception of the Park goal both teams were far from special. And Vidic all over Torres? I do believe Torres scored, Vidic was booked for constant fouling and went missing in the last few minutes and was holdinging Rio's hand instead of marking Torres.
And i really dontsee how Carragher s**t himself as you put it, the god like wayne rooney that everybody has been talking about was no more than average today

Name one defender in the league that wouldn't be outpaced by Bellamy. That Zamora thing was a big deflection and nothing could be done about it.
At one time he'd have been able to keep up with him though. He's really slow on the turn now, like an arctic lorry....

You don't think he's declined a lot?
No he wouldn't at all.

He hasn't declined alot.

Bad winner Saggy...

United vs Liverpool.

So what if torres scored? He was utter wink for 90 mins and to think that vidic had no part to play in that is forking retarded. United did a very professional job today and executed their game plan brilliantly. Liverpools only effort on target apart from the goal came in the 85th minute or something. Rooney played very well today. Had you defence running all over the place and they s**t them selves every time he was facing the goal. Carragher tried to bully and kick him out of the game but Rooney was having none of it and s**t all over him.

Monty - don't give a fork really. I'd be a gracious winner to gracious losers but tbf I didn't read this matchday thread but the only ones I'd imagine were gracious in defeat were papa and paddy to an extent.

what would LFC be like if liverpool won??

i missed the first 15 mins so pretty much all the good stuff, bloody buses!!! rest of the game was much to do about nothing. united were helped by the fact liverpool had no attacking players it seemed(also nice to see some liverpool fans getting on gerrards back for not performing(not scoring should i say)).

penalty was debatable. mascherano was all over him and a player of his quality should know better only saw replays though so not really any build up before it. enjoyed torres' diving motion when he mistimed the challenge and got booked, if it happened to him he would have been waving the imaginary yellow card at the ref.

united only just deserved to win, taking lucas off may have been a mistake he was playing well as a DM. aqualani for kuyt what kind substitution was that a winger for another CM

united did not really leave first gear it seemed

Alot of bitter on show ffs

dont see what the issue is the peno was suspect but united were the better team and deserved a win, what else is there really to argue about, it was a close game but they held the ball better than us and rightly won

ok well heres my 2 cents worth, of course my view on the game wont be clouded by the sherbert consumption like 1 or 2 people in here

ok so good start, great header from torres...the peno changed the game for us, not a pen imo. reina unlucky with the rebound after a great save to deny rooney.

i thought the ref was lenient towards utd, how neville never got booked for the karate kick on maxi, and fletcher could/should have been sent off fos his swing at kuyt, i recall scholes getting sent off for a similair offence 1-2 seasons back.

someone, id hope gerrard, needs to pull torres to the side when he starts whinging, have a word captain its your bloody job! be vocal, rally the team i ddint see gerrard do any of this, quite subdued for most of the game.

torres would normally have buried those chances and we could have been toasting a win, but he was the only real threat we posed, johnson doesnt lok fit at all imo. very lethargic.
infact the whol team appeared a little leggy as we approached the 75 min mark, the 2 week day games caught up the them.

i dont think we played too badly, some good football infact at times but utd edged it by that 1% and perhaps a little fortune and often thats all it takes to get the win.

That says it all, good summary. :thumb:

Now get your tin hat ready for your last post. :p

What do people make of Redknapp saying about Gerrard not liking being moved all over the place when the game was coming to the end?
