Called it at half time, so obvious what was going to happen.

Even 1-0 to Utd wd have been a s**t result considering this Bayern team were there for the taking. Utd totally let go of the reigns after 20 mins and gave Bayern the initiative and confidence to play their football. Utd shd have gone on and won this game 2-0 or 3-0. Bayern didn't win this match, Utd lost it - big time. Tie is over imo.
tie is not over we'll kill them at OT

its hard to play at that tempo and level through the game tho. no team can play with that much intensity, especially when you are away from home and the mentality being so much different
no

Utd were in complete control though. It wasn't like they got tired after 20 mins, in fact it was Bayern that were chasing the ball up till then. It was a conscious decision by Utd to sit back, go deep and rely on the defence to snuff out Bayern, but all it did was allow Bayern to gain confidence - which they didn't have in that first 20 mins.

Awful decision by Ferguson imo, but I'm sure he just went back to his usual approach of sitting back and defending in european away games, but sometimes you have to realise the opponents are there for the taking and DON'T let them get back into the game.
always remember you're unique - just like everyone else
