Just seen this and had to laugh.

The result also meant United missed their chance to equal a Champions League record of seven consecutive away wins. That record is still held by Ajax (1995 to 1997) when Louis van Gaal was the coach - so he has protected his own record.

The defeat also ended United's run of 17 unbeaten away games in the Champions League. The last time was the 2007 semi-final against AC Milan - and coincidentally the referee that day was Frank de Bleeckere who officiated Tuesday night's game.
