Yep, I think that substitution by Pep summed up Barca at that moment. Thought the game was over and he could come on like Beckham against Utd for the cameo. Bit naive from Pep, he underestimated Arsenal tbf.

Or overestimated his own players :S That was one time Arsenal were bossing. It was almost like Barca got tired

Thats the thing about Arshavin, wont do fork all then can have that moment of magic and produce something out of this world.

What have you thought about his time at Arsenal?

I like him but I think RvP's injury has been unfortunate for Arshavin and he hasn't shone the way his first half season indicated he might. He doesn't seem particularly happy. Arshavin is class but he's luxury and we can't really afford that. He's inconsistent during games. The good news for Arsenal is that we still haven't really seen what he can do in a run of hot form and in a favoured position so that may be to come. The bad news is that we may not get to see that because I don't feel that he'll be with us too long.

I don't think Arshavin's injury's that serious. Don't want half the team missing to play Wolves though, they're not in the worst form.

Playing for Barcelona, methinks :D I read that he prefers playing as an AM, behind the striker, rather than on the wing. He's had tried to be striker/winger for Arsenal and you can actually forget he's on the pitch half the time

So he played behind RVP earlier in the season then and looked good?

Just seems weird he would play behind RVP and not a big guy like Bendtner and be as effective.

I don't recall him being particularly outstanding when RvP was fit either, tbh

Why has his form dropped off so much since the start of the season? Thought thats what you meant, his dip in form has been due to the fitness of RVP. If I misread apologies, just curious as to your view as I dont watch Arsenal as much as you obv :)
