i thought ribery was fantastic, didnt anyone see his killer balls? i think he created 3 clear cut chances for his team mates. all of bayerns attack was coming from his side. united had 3 people on him at one stage
yeah but not as good as people make him out to be. he was fantastic in the first leg. still not a 30m player, max at 20m imo

deserved to go through, ribery was shite again rafeal had him in his pocket till he was off, for what was nothing. ribery was leaning in

in 2 legs bayern did not really look like scoring but scored 2 goals. would not surprise me if they win the tournament now by shear fluke

nani and valencia put in good performances as did gibson. carrick caught again :|

robbens goal was very good though

Bayern did look like scoring, tbh. First leg, once they settled they constantly looked like scoring. Second leg, same thing. They got their goals because of poor defending. Same way you lot did.

United probably would have gone through with 11 men but Rafael did foul, it was blatant and it was a yellow card offence.

ref was not going to give it until the bayern players surrounded him. plus ribery played for it rafeal stopped then he started leaning across to him he even looks at rafeal the lunges. ref sees that view and its ribery that gets booked

not rafeals fault your a shite winger ribery

Looked to me like the ref was going to give it anyway. He seemed to react immediately to it. Anyway, it was right in front of his face. It's alright going on about what ribery did after the foul but rafael deserved that yellow all day because he was tugging at the man first and you just can't do that. Ribery wasn't giving him enough problems for Rafael to get himself sent off.

still a very weak yellow card,

the diving the ref did not book aswell was awful. 1 card and it stops no more diving in this game

The standard of refereeing has been poor when it comes to things like diving in general. Overacting really gets on my nerves too. Watching Valencia clutching his knee as if in serious pain but slyly twisting up his neck to make sure the ref was watching had me like  But we can't complain about things our own players do.

It's just sad for him the cameras caught him  You don't have to get in a ref's face to pressure him into making a decision

good result ...for Bayern :D

What a forking goal by Robben! absolute class.

i found it amusing ref Fergies plan to suprise Bayern with Rooneys inclusion and then his sore loser comments  .

at 3-0 nil i had to turn the tv over...i assumed once i switched back over it was gonna be 5.6 or even 7 - 0.

Rooney being on the pitch became a help to Bayern more than a hindrance.

It was it paid off for the first half hr but once he got injured we were playing with 10 men. For me we should have brought on macheda coz the bayern defence wasn't gettin pressured and had way too much time on the ball

p***ed me right off, tbh they do it with any english team. what i found funny was when bayern players rolled around and over reacting they kept bringing it up. when valencia did it they just ignore it

They're normally like that with the English teams but they didn't do it last week. Proper gutted they were, when Arsenal scored against Barca.
