Liverpool will make a move for Jones, you heard it here first.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

Kenwyne Jones. :moon:

I think clubs might give it til the end of next season to see how Jones does and then will be making bids for him. Shame lackburn will probably have to sell. :(

Depends if he wants to go really. If he's playing regular first team football then he might very well stay - after all, playing first team PL football at a club who's shown they'll stand by you is great, and he'll only be 19 at the end of next season. He might look at it and say to himself that he's better off playing regularly for Blackburn than warming the bench for Liverpool or another PL team. He should be (and seems to be) a first choice CB at the moment for us, and it saddens me to say that Nelson and Samba will have to fight it out for that second place.

We will demand a hell of a lot of money for him as well (rightly so - we brought him through our academy, he's young, he's English and he's performing magnificently) but I don't think we'd sell just because we are offered a lot of money. We're not in a financial predicament to force us to do that unless a player demands a move. Hopefully he'll want to stay with us for a while yet.

Hmm i'm not so sure about not selling if offered a lot. I can see Blackburn taking the money in order to improve a number of different areas and strengthen the squad.

Isn't Nelson the captain?
