tbf Lfc, watching a game in a stadium is different to watching it on the tv, you have the advantage of replays at home and up close shots.
fair enough i didnt know he actually went to the game but was referring to the telly. yeah i agree you see everything more clearly on the tele imo
You can read I assume?

I stated I went to the match, you quoted the post.

Nobody had a really bad game imho. All fairly average.

Btw, I'll watch the highlights 20 times next time, if they managed to find any to that match.

We're missing a player that takes games by the scruff of the neck, Gerrard used to do it but him like everyone else seems to be happy being a passenger waiting for something to happen. We really need to get in a proper leader or hope Gerrard's balls grow back.

i think its the wide players, by what you mean i expect you wanted gerrard to bail us out by scoring. he created 3 or 4 great chances, he did all he could but even he needed help. his role has changed and it was done by rafa

what we need is the wide men to get the ball and create a chance out of nothing. something special, the only way kuyt or anyone else can score is if gerrard sets it up on a plate. wait he even did that by they still missed....

we need fast creative wingers like valencia imo

I don't mean just Gerrard scoring. We've seen to many times this season when the players are to accepting of the situation. Yesterday, the feeling was "It's going to be one of them days, oh well," only player that had the attitude to force the situation and make something happen was Pacheco, why can't our senior players do that?

when you say senior players, i aint putting words in your mouth but its only gerrard

only gerrard can force the situation

only gerrard could have won us that game by either scoring or creating

thats the problem and why i wanted babel in the team always, its because he is the only guy who can force a situation by being direct.

kuyt, maxi, masch, aquaman and whoever else they can only do well if gerrard or someone else puts it on a plate.

torres wasnt playing so it was only gerrard, he is the key. we had alonso to force things along but he is gone

its just a rebuilding phase, i really hope we get martinez next season, shift out reira and benny, bring in a offensive winger who is direct but i am terrified of what rafa will bring in if he gets money if i am honest

You still wont admit Babel was s**t either.

The maxi chance you keep banging on about wasnt an easy chance, had to turn 180 and the ball bounced as he was about to take his shot, had to correct himself, by that time swarzcher had the ball covered.

Though it was Duff who had Johnson in his pocket, since he was the first line of defence Johnson had to take on the left every single time he reached the edge of the 18 yard box.
he was average, not s**t mate. he had 2 players all the time and no proper full back to help him. he should have switched him to the right

you still cant admit maxi is a waste of space. forking awful player who shouldnt be in the team at all. terrible finisher oh and stop making excuses for maxi if you keep telling me to not do it for babel :)
The same as Johnson and Maxi on the other side with Duff and Konchesky? He never had 2 players on him in the first half when Fulham actually wanted to play a match.

Babel completely disappeared from the match one 2 moments he had and that was it.

And as for maxi, hes played here 5 minutes and not even played for Atleti most of the season. I will give him til the end of next season. Babel has been here 3 years now and has done fork all since the first season, so he has to go now.
