i think it's hard to sell utd to top players at the moment they aren't as dominant as they were if you sign you have no guarantee on how long fergie will stay on and if u have a choice of joining utd or barca/madrid u have to pay 25% more tax on your wages if u join utd
That's always been the case though. Utd have only made one big International signing in Veron. The rest of our big signings have been English born players or players already playing in the Prem.

La Liga is a much more attractive option than the Premiership for any top footballer, better climate, lifestyle, tax free etc.

Chelsea were able to get some great talent in because they are based in London and the endless money supply.

Lfc are yu our accountant?? sounds like yu know more than fergie.
depends, psychic, doctor, physiotherapist, property planner and more depending on the situation

He was good up until his celebration against Arsenal Stacie. Then it all seems to have gone wrong for him.
no, he just had one of his half decent phases where he's goodfor 4 or 5 games and then switches off. Sometimes he switches off during those games, too.
flak and gary love stacie and weep sorrowful tears when she's not around

They've just won 3 Premierships in a row and got to two Champions League finals Norwich! Admittedly Spain is the big attraction right now but United are still the pick of the Premier League clubs imo.

i disagree and say chelsea are especially if they win the league this yr they're pay structure is higher they normally make the the semis of the CL and if you were selling chelsea to a player the targets you could name that your going after would be more believable than utd's promises

wasnt it one of benzema or tevez?

united went for one at a time?

the red figures will there for all to see dmac, i would be very worried at the losses without big player sales united are making
Well at the time Fergie was talking about the tradition of having 4 forwards at the club and both offers were around the same time but you may be right on that.

When you look at how bad Benzema is and we were outbid offering 25 mil for him you can see how inflated the transfer market is. Who would we actually buy in that's better than Benzema without spending all of the Ronaldo money in one go?

Of course the money situation is worrying but the fact is no one knows Utds books, the only people that claim to do is ABU's like yourself.

Maybe, but Roman has hardly been dipping into his pocket lately and has been trying to cut costs.

If you are right Stacie, what a waste of £30m.

Changing my tune since 2008.
What on earth were you on about earlier LFC about Scholes should retire? He controlled that match and scored the winner. Just because he needs a zimmer frame and has no pace left doesn't mean he isn't any good - I would compare him a little to Tugay in that he's very good on the ball and his passing is brilliant. Scholes has years left in him yet in the Premiership as long as Ferguson plays him in the right games.

And tbh, if you are honestly saying (it certainly is inferred) that you wouldn't have Scholes at Liverpool then the implication is that

Scholes < Lucas

Get a grip ffs! :lol
