i assumed evans and brown were also out, evans ahead of JOS

the midfield is hardly weak, swap gibson for carrick maybe, but we need gibsons attacking edge tbh i dont think berbatov will start

I get the feeling mumanc doesn't like Carrick. :S

Brown hasn't been seen for a while. :( No idea on Evans?

It says everything if you are looking at Gibson for an attacking edge and putting Berbatov o nthe bench. :p

its a big game, berbatov should not even make the bench :ph43r:

we need the extra man min midfield and someone to do a bit more running

TBF gibson is the only one who likes to take a shot outside the box (scholes used to do it regular) and sometimes thats what you need instead of trying to walk it past a defence, atleast he can hit the target, unlike anderson who shoots, but isnt on target.

It's the only thing he can do though. As midfielders go, he's pretty useless.

I did think of him actually when I typed that. Gibson just does absolutely nothing though unless he scores a goal and when he keeps missing shot after shot it's annoying.

gerrard has made a career out of doing that, this season he is not scoring so its a poor season, the goals cover up the other aspects of his game that are weak. gibson has more about him that gerrard at his age, if he starts scoring more goals people will forget about his bad points

gerrard scores a goal every 4.1111 games, gibson every 4.2 games

your midfield is terrible

gibson average

carrick average

flecther decent ball winner- stands out in a poor mf

scholes, should be in a retirement home

park a horse, literally a horse who just runs

valencia and nani are decent wingers 3 out of 5

city will win this game imo, they are on form and have a better midfield and strike force
no
