im sorry but that was a clear penalty to united. bridge may not have meant it but it was clumsy by him, the ball came from 30 yards away and hit him on the arm

i remember gallas and neville giving away pens for that in the past

no way man.. he was pulling his arm away if it was hands which it wasn't, it would have been ball to hand, hardly worth a penalty

it as 30 yards away, it hit his arm mate! come on that is a pen if you follow the rules.

he didnt mean it but that doesnt mean it wasnt a foul. like i said 30 yards the ball came from, he had the time to move his arm, he used his arm so it wouldnt go for a throwing in a dangerous area!

Imo Fergies tactics are wrong. Yes Berbatov has been crap this season but leaving rooney alone is crazy. City have managed to let Uts have the ball at the same time cutting off the link between Utds midfield and rooney. Put Berbatov on the pitch and you retain the ball in the 3rd half of the pitch.

This game just highlights what is lacking in both teams.

Whilst city have bite in the last 3rd, Utd lack that bite but make it up with midfield dominance

Poor game and the way its going. City will nick something as they have looked the likeliest to score when they manage to get the ball.

I would have liked a goal from us by now... but everyone on the pitch is going all out, and I thought it was a very good watch

Good watch but Utd should be two goals to the good. Rooney should have put that chance away when Valencia headed it down and Giggs should've scored from 7 or 8 yards out a few minutes later. Such wastefulness is sure to play into City's hands - they're usually quite clinical and certainly don't look out of the match at all. Its been fairly even but United have had the better opportunities.

Tevez's free kick is about the closest City have come in terms of actual shots but Van Der Sar made a great save - it possibly didn't have enough power in the shot.

Great match for a neutral.
