Tadpole's Excrement
|
Has agreed to leave Notts County at the end of the season, because his wage is just too much for Notts County to pay for. Available on a free transfer, so I reckon there'll be a fair few teams in for him. Is he good enough for the Championship? I'd love to have him at Derby County. He's a lot more consistent than Stephen Bywater. |

I thought Notts County had loads of money and were planning to be in the Premiership in 5 years time? Also how come he's on a free transfer? He was never good enough for the Premiership but he would do a job in the Championship i'd imagine. |

Tadpole's Excrement
|
Well Notts County have been in the limelight all season as far as results on the pitch as well as deals off the pitch. Theres no doubt that theyve been strong on the pitch, and are ready to be named champions after the next game. However, we all know that they were taken over by foreign investors in the summer, fronted by a UK businessman, who brought in Sven. When they actually looked as to who owned the club, and where the investment was coming from, turns out there weren't actually any foreign investors looking to invest the large amounts of money that had been outlined. By this point, money had already been piled into bringing in players and improving facilities. The club was sold once more to British owners, who narrowly managed to find investment to avoid administration. Kasper Schmeichel is the clubs top earner and has is earning £14,000 per week, a lot more than County can afford. He's agreed to leave by mutual consent. |

Bow to the king mother forkers!

I think there will be a few takers for him. I think he is better than some people on here give him credit for. I would have him at Chelsea as a back up to Cech. Cant be any worse than the keepers we have already as back up! |

Ahhh so that's what happened. Shame for them...I wonder if they will be able to stay up in League 1 next season. Guess it depends if they have to make anymore sales.Schmeichel is nowhere even near Premiership standard and wouldn't have been in the Premiership in the first place if it wasn't for his surname. |
