i havent seen him play since he left us but if his surname had been smith no-one would have mention him again.
I think that's a bit harsh... Kasper is a good goalkeeping talent and one of the reasons notts have done so well this season...
in league 1
league 2
i just noticed that
he`s 23 and just been voted into the division 4 team of the season,i see no glittering career in front of him.
Goalkeepers tend to peak in their early 30s. He's got a future ahead of him yet.

Notts County goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel claims that he is flattered to be linked with a move to German champions Bayern Munich after being told he can leave for free in the summer.

Schmeichel - son of Manchester United and Denmark legend Peter - will depart Meadow Lane for nothing in the transfer window as the League Two club had signed him on a big-money four-year contract, which they now believe is not viable in their current financial state.

Now a host of Premier League clubs are being linked with the goalkeeper's services, together with some on the continent and Schmeichel is happy with the speculation.

"Munich are a great team and it is an honour to be linked with them," he said.

Schmeichel's agent Mads Frederiksen, however, insists that as yet no talks are under way.

"It is obviously a great honour for him to be associated with Bayern Munich, but there is nothing on it - we have nothing concrete from any clubs," he told TV2 Sport. "We are not ruling anything out, we are just working on some opportunities."
