Delighted. Missed the boat with the potential of Coppell however. Please go for Tony Mowbray Please!

Not sure Mowbray would go there would he, he had a far better team in West Brom...

Mowbray messed up leaving West Brom, what were celtic thinking getting a Championship manager in

i do think he would take a job in the championship. west brom is poss the biggest job in the league as they keep yoyoing in and out of the prem

Tadpole's Excrement
Mowbray would return to the Championship, but to a promotion contender.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Paul Jewell or Alan Curbishley join.

SkyBet are offering some not so bad odds on Mark Hughes, Tony Adams or Teddy Sherringham.

or 500/1 for Mourinho

Sheringham has gone into management? :S

Would have thought Curbishley and Jewell would be looking for higher profile clubs or at least clubs that have even a slight chance of promotion. No offence Ricky. :ph43r:

managers like curbishly and jewell need a job before they are left in the management wilderness

They both left better clubs though so surely they would be wanting a team that is either already in the Premiership or has a good chance f getting up.

wanting and getting are two different things how long can you wait for a "big" job to come along before the need to get back in the game takes over

Well managers jobs are always coming up and i'm sure Curbishley especially is better than quite a few of the managers at the top Championship clubs. Look at Newcastle's manager for instance...they will probably panic change him if they have a poor start.

yes i agree with you he is better than most championship managers but what i'm saying is say a half decent prem job comes up say once every 9-12 months and he applies and gets rejected eventually he will say ok i need to get a team into the prem myself otherwise he will end up managing some 2 bit national team for a couple of years just to get his name banded about again
