Changing my tune since 2008.

I hope you lot don't come in for Phil Jones. £9m is no good to us. Who can we realistically sign for £9m that wants to play for Blackburn with the passion, energy, strength and surprising skill of the guy? Watching him play yesterday you'd have thought he was 26 and in his prime rather than 18. £15m should be a baseline for the guy as he's on a 5 year contract. Would he get a game at Arsenal too - it would probably be better for England and for Jones' career if he doesn't go because he's settled in Blackburn and has lived in the area all his life and supports the team. Time will tell. Take Keith Andrews for £9m instead. |

so did we (Chamakh doesn't count) ![]() Liverpool dealt well with being a man down, helped massively by scoring the first goal. They barely had to commit men forward and more of the team defended. I'm surprised they didn't go for it more though, with Arsenal lookin so shaky and being so desperate to score. |

I've seen Jones play for the youth teams and he's looked so composed but I haven't seen anything of him at Blackburn, at least not that I can recall. We need defenders desperately but I don't want a situation where we're picking up an English youth for him to spend a lot of time on the bench. |

I think Chamakh will grow into the league slowly at first much like Adebayor did. |

Maybe he will cesc but he certainly looked more lively when supported by RvS. (Sexy instead of Persie. Imaginative, I know.) Didn't look lone striker material. |

Oracle of Truth.

RN summed it up pretty nicely. Also I wouldn't read too much into Nani's prediction as they're usually wrong. |

I know, we really didn't need passengers today and we had about three. Nasri stood out like a healthy thumb on a hand of broken fingers. |
