Smalling was £10 million?
£4million up front I believe. Not that I even agree with that price  I'm not doubting the lads ability but he's only played a handful of first team games! Asking for £20million is a bit steep considering.
FF sounded like an Arsenal fan then with the WC statement.

Just joking, lad seems to have a big future ahead of him. But before anyone labels him this or that, let him play a bit more first.

Aye, I agree. It is early doors. If he performs all season then I can see some really interest coming in. If he has a great season, £15-20 million would be a fair asking price.

over pricing him just a tad.

he needs to prove himself as a good player for a few seasons before justifying that type of price.

The guy's potential worth to Blackburn is easily that much. He is actually in our first team now rather than being a fringe player. That in itself puts a few million on his head because first team PL players for decent clubs go for a couple of million each usually. He's 18. That instantly puts millions on top of the price. He's English. That puts a few million on the price for PL clubs because he can be included on top of the 25 man squad and he's homegrown. He can play anywhere in defence and even in central midfield. He's still improving and we could not replace him with £9m. No promising young players would want to come to Blackburn that are anywhere near as good. He's also on a 5 year contract. Maybe £20m is pushing it a little, but £15m is a minimum tbh. At least until he proves (or doesn't) prove himself.

Besides, he's better off at Blackburn anyway. One of the most promising talents England have had for years but unlike most of them, he's being kept on the ground by his manager and more importantly, he's a first team PL player from the age of 18. He wouldn't get game time so much at any bigger clubs so he's better off at Blackburn.

And he supports Blackburn.

He should stay there for at least 3 more years tbh, if he supports the club there should be no rush to leave

Ok so take that all into consideration for other players. How much would be a reasonable amount for Aaron Ramsey?
