the only forward that really looked the part was berba... can't say this was united at full steam... nowhere near it... scholes was brilliant... but tbh I wasn't all that impressed by the rest of the team. Having said that, this happened a LOT last season and you were still winning things so if I were a rag I wouldn't be worrying at all. also it's early in the season |

berba had a good game, nothing special but the amount of grief he gets is ridicolous, im glad he got a goal today. Rooney you really do need to loose some weight, his movement was there but the rest of his game wasnt, he looks nothing like match fit. I thought o'shea was pretty poor, just imo hes very average, rafael should start in home games, especially against a team like newcastle. i thought enrique played very well for toon, he had valencia pretty much in his back pocket. dont really need to mention scholes do i

We definitely weren't at our best but overall I think we played very well. The passing and moving was a joy to watch at times. Not many mistakes and very comfortable. Great start to the season

Good efficent win against a Championship side but not great by any means. You'll only play 3 or 4 poorer teams this season imo. 3-0 against them at home is an ok result. Must say Berbatov was good but his flicks must infuriate you reds? He never looks behind him and they rarely come off. He would drive me mad!

Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro

Dont think so Sillyun he was the outstanding player but in Scholes fashion he was just one tackle from an early bath!

It's 3 points, 3 goals and a masterclass from Scholes again. Built up match fitness obv aswell.. Opened a can of worms there. |
