Bow to the king mother forkers!

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed captain John Terry will return for Sunday's mouth-watering game with Liverpool. The England international was an unused substitute in Wednesday night's UEFA Champions League victory over Spartak Moscow at Stamford Bridge. It had been feared the 29-year-old may have picked up a knock, however, Terry was simply rested having played in the bulk of the club's campaign so far. Chelsea are also boosted by the availability of midfield workhorse Michael Essien (toe), however, Ancelotti has confirmed French winger Florent Malouda (ankle) will play no part. Playmaker Frank Lampard is also in line to make his comeback following a groin injury and Ancelotti is hopeful he will be able to feature on Merseyside. "John Terry I rested because he played a lot of games and I want to maintain the players' fitness," he told the club's official website. "Essien had a little problem on his toe but will be fit for the game against Liverpool. "Malouda has a twist on his ankle, not a big problem but he is not able to play against Liverpool, the week after yes, and we hope Frank can play." Good news then! Could have done with Malouda tho. Hopefully Kalou will have a good game. |

When I read the title I thought it meant that Terry, Essien and Lampard where moving to Liverpool. Then I realised that Pool and Chelsea are playing this weekend

Terry slept with his misses?? has age caught up with him??? he has played a lot of football(most consecutive starts for an outfield player?) maybe chelsea re giving him a longer break whilst they are doing well after the world cup, so he is fresher for the end of the season |

I think its more that they want to make 100% sure that groin injury cleared up. Very easy to come back to a real match to soon, push just that little bit more than u do in training and for it to go again. Think if it was one of the big 4 he would poss be playing
