RSPCA have acted very quickly after recent incidents at the Femirates Stadium on Saturday. If you see an Arsenal fan with a dog please ask them to cal 0800 2-0 2-1 2-2 2-3 for free advice on how to hold onto a lead.

Spurs deserved the win because they got the win, and fairly. Arsenal couldn't have done much more to give it to them. A deflection is unlucky. The ball bouncing over the line after hitting a beach ball is unlucky. Conceding three goals in a row at home without scoring isn't unlucky, it's poor. No good outperforming a team if you're still going to allow them to come back in it. That was a big moment for Spurs, one they haven't had in many many years. I didn't think they performed brilliantly either but they kept going at the game in a way Arsenal should have done.

Arsenal's performance was to me like most of the players had no idea they were in a local derby. Forget what pundits say, forget what Redknapp might say, forget what fans might say, this game was never going to make either team more convincing as a title contender but pride was at stake.

Your last point is spot on. I said a similar thing when watching the Manchester derdy about City. They just hadn't a clue, there was no fight, no urgency. And I think attitudes like that will go against both sides when it really matters and thats why neither side will be winning the league any time soon imo

That's kinda why I wasn't sure about Chammy starting, I really don't believe he understands what this meant and his reaction to scoring kind of backed that up. He's not the only one though, it's like it's not a proper derby anymore. I think Arsenal just believed they could easily dominate Spurs at home and the first half proved it. But where the old Arsenal team would have taken that 2-0 and turned it into something hugely embarrassing for Spurs, the new lot thought they could take it easy. Punishment is a bitch.
