I know. He had a stinker

Suso and Pacheco made something happen every time they got on the ball but either Eccleston or Amoo messed up the chance

Amoo is a new kind of crap tbh.

But ona brighter note, Roy is showing glimpses of improving..

Yea, we're definitely getting better. My worry is that he'll start pushing people out of position once the injuries disappear. Meireles will be stuck on the wing for a start.

I think the Villa game will be very telling. Against a side that won't just give us a win, and a side that we probably won't be worried too much about. Will be interesting to see how motivated we are to win. If Roy plays him on the wing again Raul should just spark him out tbh.

We're probably best off actually having one of Gerrard or Meireles injured - that way it forces Roy to play the fit one in the centre

Ok no chance im reading 20 pages

overall spurs deserved to win but christ how biast was the ref, he was on a forking misson to do us in  well played to spurs though the were thr one who went for it and it paid of. Another winker for a manager, no vision how to change a game and stood there without a forking clue what to do. He lost us that game as much as anyone

my player ratings
Reina...........5/10. One or two decnet saves but thats the worst I have seen him in years
Konchesky............. 0.5/10. Doesnt deserve a red jersey or a point, got skint so often and was woeful for the late goal.
Carra and skrtel............... 8/10. Were heroic today and really played well.
Johnson.........7/10. He certainly was not embarassed by Bale and was pretty solid going forward also
Lucas ............7/10.Good foward passes again and all round was busy. All he needs to learn is how to be more agressive and dominant in the tackles. Apart from that he was good.
Meireles..........6.5/10. Another decent game from him, made a few tackels and was up and down the field all day and kept the game ticking so well.
Maxi ............6/10. Unforgivable miss in the first half, that one moments proves why he isnt liverpool quality. I am still trying to work out how a professional player cannot score there. Was busy all day and tried his best
Kuyt.........5/10. I know the blindness of this forum will defend him today so I would forking bother. He was a disgrace.
Ngog.......5.5/10. The lad tried and held it up well on occasions but wtf he was doing for thhe peno I will never know.
Torres.......7/10 . I thought he had a very good game tbh. Held it up well and put a goal on a plate for that retard. Ran his socks of today

Unlike Crouch, I did read all 21 pages. My ratings...

Reina: 6 - Solid, but could do nothing about the goals
Johnson: 6 - defended Bale well, but consequently allowed him to go forward very little
Carra: 7 - great block from Defoe and solid overall, shame about the dislocation
Skrtel: 7 - also did well and just about matched Crouch's aireal threat, good finish, nothing he could do with the og
Konchesky: 6 - not as bad as everyone made out, shame he couldn't sort his positioning for the winning goal
Kuyt: 5 - disappointing really, offered little and his passing was poor
Lucas: 7 - good display of passing, really has improved
Mareelesssh: 7 - combined with Lucas to boss the midfield, good display and unlucky with his shot
Maxi: 6 - why couldn't he take the chance
N'gog: 6 - did what he could, wasn't much of a threat
Torres: 7 - looked good, just needed to shoot when he could

Just need to keep pushing

i hope he plays well enough to keep gerrard out of CM, i definatly think mirelese is better for the role needed there and gerrard should be closer to the box. put Gerrard on the wing i think his highest scoring season was from the right

same with agger and carragher, I see them both competing for a spot and currently roy needs to think past club heros and actually play the best player for the job.

he was brilliant, but he did mislay a couple of passes, he was trying to be Scholes esque on the edge of the 18 yard box, but didnt quite pull it off.

Him and Lucas work so well in the middle, but i fear that as soon as Gerrard is phyiscally fit, he'll be slotted back into the middle.

Now i've calmed down a little, PFK... he was skinned so many times, he really is a liability for us, and his tactical awareness is just dreadful as well, a lot of the time Skrtel had to cover him because he decided to give Lennon a head start. Not just for the goal, but in the first half there were occasions when he just let him breeze by.

Skrtel was unlucky, he was absolutely immense, he was very unlucky with the own goal, he was in a no win situation, but really Carra was caught unawares with Moderic's speed.

It was a good performance yesterday, again the manager should show the tape to them and let them realise that this is what happens when you dont' take your chances.
