Blackburn were poor as United demolished them! Credit where it's due

Anderson was immense. Everyone was immense in fact by the look of it. Berbatov being in the right place a few ties, fair play to him today, very clinical.

Today records should've been broken. Robinson didn't even seem to bad  made a few good saves and blocks.

Gutted that the goal Blackburn got means if they win tomrrow then go back top.

What a ridiculous statement, he's been our best player for the past two seasons and that's not just because the rest of the team is so bad. As for the records should've been broken bit, you're definitely right, we were shocking.

Iit was an absolutely diabolical performance from Rovers but our team was also on the bare bones, it was hardly like Man Utd beat our first team 7-1. Most of that team has been injured very recently and there has been a sickness bug travelling round the Rovers players recently too. Couple that lot with the fact we were playing a Man Utd side which would have outplayed anybody and it explains a lot.

7-1 is a ridiculous result and it is an embarrassment to me as a fan but at the same time, there were certain reasons behind it. If it was our first team turning up I think we'd have lost more like 3-0 or something, and any shouts I've heard from people to get rid of Allardyce are premature to say the least. I'm half surprised nothing has been said about our side making so many changes bearing in mind what happened to Holloway :ph43r:

I'm not trying to hide behind the fact Blackburn had a second string side to field and saying that's the reason why we lost because even taking that into account, 7-1 is absolutely pathetic. It does, however, go to give a little context. Unfortunately it will pile pressure on from the Indian owners who probably already want to get rid of Allardyce, a man who has done a fantastic job at Blackburn.

Why is it ridiculous?

You were outclassed from minute 1 through to 90.

Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Chimbonda, Emerton, Jones, Goulon, Dunn, Diouf, Roberts.

Not so much a second string is it really..

I was thinking the same, No Kalinic, and not heard of Goulon. Other than that I don't see much difference. I'm not a Blackburn fan, but all but a few of those look like first teamers to me.
