Tbh I wouldn't blame Roy for today. We were the better side, just individuals let us down. |

you just want to see us relegated 17 games 22 points, gerrard has missed what 2 league games? mate he is simply not good enough, his tactics belong in the 70s and he has showed no sign of improvement at all |

what will happen is a few more home wins in the upcoming games will yet again take the pressure off him and all those calling for him to be gone will be berated , then we'll lose a few more away games, etc etc and before you know it the season willhave finished and we will have finished about 8-9th (ish) if lucky... |

You finish in a champions league place for the first time, now your manager thinks you can win everything. Nothing new from Tottenumb though.

exactly, he is turning us into a mid table club, 17 games an 22 points! gthat is a shocking return, they say 40 points is what teams should be aiming to stay up top, at this rate we will get around 46 points for the whole season |

bingo.... i've been pretty lenient, waiting and watching through some of our shocking displays, the key for me is I don't see even the slightest sign of anything changing or improving that could turn our fortunes. In fairenss this has probably been one of our better season thus far in terms of injuries, previously we've lost Torres and Gerrard for much longer periods and done better. Roy doesn't look like anything will change that could possibly improve our game. |

I think that's the problems, no matter what he does most of the players don't believe in him. Whether he treats them like goblins or puts his arm around them they won't bust a gut for him. The players have a lot to blame. If they haven't improved their attitude or giving 100% then they shouldn't be playing for Liverpool, simple as. Maybe Liverpool simply aren't good enough, why shd they be expected to beat Newcastle when better teams couldn't Edited by treble, Dec 11 2010, 08:52 PM.
